LOMBARDY: DONATION OF FOOD IN BRESCIA

Brescia, May 7th, 2020 – Mr. Stefano Villotta, Luciano Mazzola, Nicola Salvi and Claudio Gaole, coordinated by the Prior of Lombardy Mgr Arnaldo Morandi, by the Vice Delegate Dr. Giuseppe Rizzani and the secretary of the representation of Brescia Mr. Maurizio Mirandola, in response to the request for support received from the director of the Pontifical Post-Novitiate and Salesian University “Paolo VI” of Nave, Father Erino Leoni, have repeatedly delivered more than 600 portions of fresh packaged soups, various baked goods, 150 servings of fresh salads and various rotisserie food.

TRIVENETO: DONATION IN GORIZIA

Gorizia, May 9th, 2020 – On the occasion of the feast of Saint George, the representation of the city of Gorizia, headed by Mr. Vanni Feresin, wanted to give a tangible sign of solidarity to families because of the epidemic, through a donation of non-perishable foodstuffs, which was made possible by other donations received from some knights of the delegation. The products were given to volunteers of the Civil Protection Operations Centre, represented by the municipal coordinator Salvatore Gambitta, in the presence of the Representative, Mgr Arnaldo Greco and Mr. Christian Massaro who coordinated the operation.

TUSCANY: “BRICIOLE DI SALUTE” IN PISA AND CARMIGNANO

Pisa, May 8th, 2020 – The Vice Delegate, assisted by Mr. Giovanni Merola, representative for the city of Pisa, with the collaboration of the president of civil protection of Chiesina Uzzanese, Mr. Ivano Lucchesi, donated food and toys to the president of “AGBALT” Ms. Tiziana del Carlo. “Agbalt” is an Association of parents who have children affected by severe diseases.

Carmignano PO, May 9th, 2020 – The Tuscan delegation, represented by M. Dino Greco, representative for the city of Prato, assisted by Mr. Giacomo Perrina, and in collaboration with the non-profit organization “ Regalami un Sorriso ”, donated to the Governor of the structure “la Misericordia”, Mr. Sergio Pagliai, a supply of certified health masks, according to the FF22 standard.

ABRUZZO AND MOLISE: DONATION FOR THE HOSPITAL OF NOVARA

On April 27th 2020 the Delegation of Abruzzo and Molise, guided by Prof. Franco Ciufo, in collaboration with the company “Carioni Spedizioni Internazionali” Mr. Giancarlo Saglimbeni is the founder of, and with the collaboration of the Vice Delegate of Lombardy, Dr Giuseppe Rizzani, wished to participate in the donations in favour of the most fragile hospitals, due to the epidemiological spread of COVID. These donations were promoted by H.R.H. Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Grand Master. Medical devices and pulmonary respirators were delivered quickly.

The General Director of Novara Hospital sent a letter where he thanked H.R.H. the Grand Master and those who collaborated for this donation.

SICILY: TWO FELLOWSHIPS HAVE BEEN FUNDED AT THE SPECIAL DENTISTRY DEPARTMENT OF ACIREALE HOSPITAL

Acireale, May 7th, 2020 – H.E. Archbishop Antonino Raspanti, Bishop of Acireale, and lawyer Antonino Amato, representative for the city of Catania, have visited the special dentistry department of Acireale Hospital this morning. This was an opportunity for hospital officials to thank the Constantinian Order for having given the department the sum of 10,000.00 euros, thanks to which two fellowships for two professionals, dr. Leocata and dr. Scoglio, have been funded.
